My work explores the emotional landscape of human presence.

I’m drawn to the quiet moments in a face — the expressions that reveal strength, reflection, vulnerability, and resilience all at once. Rather than beginning with a fixed idea, each painting starts with a feeling. Through layers of color, texture, and gesture, the subject slowly emerges, often revealing something unexpected along the way.

I’m interested in what is visible and what remains hidden. A glance, a shadow, a fragment of expression can suggest an entire story. The figures in my paintings are not meant to be fully explained; they invite the viewer to bring their own experience into the encounter.

Whether working in portraiture or abstraction, my goal is always the same:
to capture a moment of presence — something felt rather than simply seen.

Every painting is created by hand, layered over time, and meant to exist as a singular object in the world.
